    AC-186 is a selective non-steroidal estrogen receptor beta ( ERbeta ) agonist with EC 50 s of 6 nM and 5000 nM for ERbeta and ERalpha, respectively. AC-186 shows gender selective neuroprotective effects in a male rat model of Parkinsons disease [1] .
