Acid Ceramidase-IN-2 (compound 1), an acid ceramidase inhibitor, exhibits potentially antiproliferative and cytostatic effects. It is of interest due to the overexpression of human acid ceramidase in prostate cancer cells, suggesting potential anti-tumor efficacy.
