This antibody is capable of binding to opioid receptors on T98G human glioblastoma cells. This antibody could also recognize conjugate of mAb 3K11 - horseradish peroxidase with 6-hemisuccinyl morphine ester-BSA in an ELISA. The binding affinity of this idiotype antibody to 3K11 was determined to be Kd = 3.2 nM. When rabbits were immunized with AI-K11B antibody, they generated antibodies that were capable of recognizing all tested derivatives of morphine (RU2745374).
