    The binding characterization of this antibody to human alpha-fetoprotein was done using ELISA. The inhibitory effect of single-chain antibody against alpha-fetoprotein-positive liver cancer cells was studies and it was found that the scFv antibody has a significant growth inhibitory effect on AFP-positive HepG2 and Bel7402. The scFv antibody was also found to significantly increase the sensitivity of AFP-positive HepG2 cells to all-trans retinoic acid (CN103319595).
