  • Antibody Specificity
13D6 antibody recognizes human beta-2 adrenergic receptor. It was reported that this antibody recognizes extracellualr domains of the receptor (Han et al., 2012). Beta-adrenergic receptors mediate the catecholamine-induced activation of adenylate cyclase
  • Application Supplier Note
This antibody is recommended for the identification and analysis of the beta2-adrenergic receptor. For instance, tt was used to immunostain vascular smooth muscle cells (VSMCs) against beta-2-adrenergic receptor to determine the fate of beta-2ARs ubiquitinated in a carvedilol responsive manner (Han et al., 2012). Furthermore, the antibody was utilized in the quantification of the surface level of beta-2ARs via ELISA (Han et al., 2012).
