This antibody binds to the C-terminal lobe of Bla G 2, via an epitope containing a carbohydrate moiety (on Asn268, however non-essential for binding, though a 40-fold reduction in affinity is observed).

This antibody binds to Bla g 2 via an epitope distinct from the epitope used by anti-Bla g 2 antibody clone 7C11 also available through Absolute Antibody. Both antibodies may be used in a sandwich ELISA.
