This antibody is specific for the botch antigen in rats. This protein catalyzes the cleavage of glutathione into 5-oxo-L-proline and a Cys-Gly dipeptide.

The antibody was used for western blotting on the proteins extracted from the cerebral cortex of rats (Liu et al, 2019; PMID:30646897).
