- Antibody SpecificityThis antibody is specific for the epitopes found at the topmost edges around the 5-fold axes of the PCV2, Cap with each epitope covering 18 amino acids from two adjacent Cap proteins.
- Application Supplier NoteThe original antibody was used for an ELISA on PCV2-positive serum (Huang et al., 2011; PMID:20923690), on PCV2a/LG-infected PK15 cells cultures (Huang et al., 2019; PMID:30863876), and on purified PCV2 (Bian et al., 2021; PMID:34959519). Further this antibody was used for immunohistochemistry on inguinal lymph nodes of PCV2-inoculated pigs (Huang et al., 2016; PMID:27020283) (Huang et al., 2019; PMID:30863876). This antibody was used for an neutralization assay on PCV2a/LG. PCV2a/LG was incubated with this antibody after which the mixture was added to PK15 cells (Huang et al., 2020; PMID:32075932) (Yu et al., 2022; PMID:35945364). This antibody was also used for immunofluorescence to test the absorption of PCV2 to PK15 cells. The structure of the original antibody was determined using cryo-EM (Huang et al., 2020; PMID:32075932). This antibody was used for purification of proteins from PCV2a/LG (Bian et al., 2021; PMID:34959519)
