This antibody can be used for the detection of heat killed or 0.02% SDS treated samples of BP and BP using an ELISA. This antibody recognized surface-capsule antigens with molecular sizes of 38 to 52 kDa, and 200 kDa in BM and weakly reactive to 14~28, 200 kDa antigens in BP in a western blot (PMID: 21573027).
