Overview
- SupplierAbsolute Antibody
- Product NameAnti-CD16 [DJ130c]
- Delivery Days Customer7
- Antibody SpecificityThis antibody recognises an epitope in the first membrane-distal domain of both CD16a and CD16b. CD16 is a low affinity receptor for IgG, and plays an important role in mediating ADCC by NK cells.
- Application Supplier NoteDJ130c may be used in identification and characterisation of various cancers. For instance, one group utilised this antibody in the analysis of expression profiles of gastric cancer xenografts exposed to cisplatin and considerable alteration in the expression level of CD16 was observed (Cai et al., 2017). Another group used this antibody to identify and compare different subpopulations of macrophages and their potential relation to acute heart transplant rejection, both via immunofluorescence and immunohistochemistry in tissue samples (van den Bosch et al., 2017).
