This antibody is specific for mouse CD22.

The ability of the original antibody to deplete B cell in vivo in mice was tested. It showed that is was able to deplete B cells NZB/W F1 and C57BL/6 mice. This antibody was used for an ELISA (Haas et al., 2010; PMID:20368280). The ability of this antibody to block the CD22 ligand was tested. It showed that the antibody inhibited CD22-mediated adhesion. This antibody was used in vivo on mice. Here it showed that the antibody was able to significantly reduce B cell numbers (Haas et al., 2006; PMID:16920943).
