Recognises an epitope shared by 145-150kDa and 190kDa complement receptor proteins, originally designated CR2 (CD21) and CR1 (CD35).

This antibody binds mouse complement receptors CR1 and CR2, functionally blocking CR2 leading to suppression of a normal antibody immune response (see Heyman et al. 1990, PMID: 1695671)
