This antibody is capable of binding human cytokeratin 7. Cytokeratins are intermediate filaments found in the intracytoplasmic cytoskeleton of epithelial tissue. Cytokeratin 7 blocks interferon-dependent interphase and stimulates DNA synthesis in cells. I

This antibody can recognize human cytokeratin 7 in an ELISA and western blot. This antibody was used in the immunohistochemical staining paraffin frozen sections of placental trophoblasts and breast cancer tissues (CN113061184).
