Recognises a unique cross-reactive epitope, present on dust mite Dermatophagoides Group 1 allergens Der p 1 and Der f 1, which are associated with IgE recognition. Monoclonal antibody [4C1] partially inhibits IgE antibody binding to Der p 1.
