    This antibody is derived after affinity maturation of a parental anti-EGFR clone C10. The original scFv antibody showed a 280 fold increase in affinity compared to the parental scFv clone C10. This antibody was used for analysis of scFv-mediated internalization of fluorescent immunoliposomes and quantification by microscopy and flow cytometry. This antibody bound to human EGFR expressed on MDAMB468 cells, A431 cells and EGFR (vIII) stably transfected NR6M and was detected by flow cytometry (Zhou et al, 2007; pmid:17602702).
