  • Application Supplier Note
The original antibody was used for flow cytometry on DENV infected Raji-DC-SIGN-R cells. It showed strong binding to DENV-1 and DENV-4, but no binding to DENV-2 and DENV-3 (Shrestha et al., 2010; PMID:20369024).This antibody was used for a plaque reduction assay on BHK21 or Vero cells and DENV-1 (Edeling et al., 2014; PMID:24743696, Shrestha et al., 2010; PMID:20369024, Shrestha et al., 2012; PMID:22406169). The structure of this antibody was determined using x-ray crystallography. An in vivo protection assay was performed on AG129 mice by administering this antibody before infection with DENV-1. It showed a significantly higher rate of survival than control. Further the in vivo study was also performed with administering this antibody after infection. Here it also showed an increase in survival (Shrestha et al., 2010; PMID:20369024). This antibody was used for surface plasmon resonance on DIII. This antibody was used for an ELISA on DENV-1. The antibody was used for a neutralization assay on Raji-DCSIGNR cells infected with DENV-1, the neutralization was tested both before and after infection had taken place (Edeling et al., 2014; PMID:24743696).
