This antibody is specific for a region in aa 412 to 423 of the envelope glycoprotein E2.

The original antibody was used for an ELISA on wild-type and deltaHVR1 HCV E2 glycoproteins (Keck et al., 2016; PMID:26739044).The original antibody was used for a neutralization assay on Huh7.5 cells mixed with HCVcc isolates (Keck et al., 2013; PMID:23097455), and on Hep3B target cells infected with HCVpp (Bailey et al., 2014; PMID:25500884).
