This antibody can be used for the detection of heat killed or 0.02% SDS treated samples of BP and BP using an ELISA. This antibody was reported to bind 34, 38 and 48 kDa surface glycoproteins of Burkholderia pseudomallei and 28, 38, 48 kDa surface glycoprotein of Burkholderia mallei in a western blot assay (PMID: 21573027).
