Overview
- SupplierAbsolute Antibody
- Product NameAnti-HPV16 E7 protein [79A11]
- Delivery Days Customer9
- Antibody SpecificityThis antibody binds E7 protein of the Human papilloma virus type 16. This protein plays an important role in viral genome replication by driving entry of quiescent cells into the cell cycle. E7 protein has both transforming and trans-activating activities
- Application Supplier NoteThe binding characterization of this antibody for HPV E7 protein was done using ELISA. This antibody can be used as a capture antibody in combination with HRP conjugated anti-HPVE7 protein 69E2 antibody as a detection antibody in a sandwich ELISA. This antibody can be used for the detection of HPV E7 protein from cells lysates of cervical cancer cell lines CaSki cells and HeLa cells in a western blot. This antibody was also used in the immunocytochemical analysis of CaSki cells and HeLa cells (HPV positive). This antibody was used for the immunohistochemical analysis of HPV16-positive cervical cancer squamous cell carcinoma and HPV18-positive cervical cancer adenocarcinoma. This antibody was also used for the indirect immunofluorescence staining of CaSki cells and HeLa cells. A chemiluminescent immunoassay was prepared using 79A11 as capture and Biotin-69E2 and HRP-Streptavidin for detection (CN111333720).
