- Antibody SpecificityThis antibody is specific for Kv1.5. This antibody recognized a single protein band at 70 kDa on western blot of lysates from Kv1.5-transfected COS cells. No band of equivalent size is observed from rat brain samples and Kv1.5-untransfected COS cells Kv1.
- Application Supplier NoteCOS-1 cells were used for immunofluorescence with this antibody (Bekele-Arcuri et al, 1996; PMID:8938716). Immunohistochemistry was preformed on rat brains using this antibody (Bekele-Arcuri et al, 1996; PMID:8938716). GST fusion proteins were used for an ELISA with this antibody (Bekele-Arcuri et al, 1996; PMID:8938716). Immunofluorescence was preformed on COS-1 cells using this antibody (Murakoshi and Trimmer, 1999; PMID:10024359). Proteins from the atrial myocardium and rat brain tissue was immunoprecipitated using this antibody (Godreau et al, 2002; PMID:12445884). proximity ligation (PLA) assay was preformed with this antibody to detect Kv protein-protein interactions (Kilfoil et al, 2019; PMID:31639389). Immunohistochemistry was preformed with this antibody on 50-um-thick sections of mouse brain (Yamada and Jinno, 2013; PMID:22987820). Splenic DCs from Cd11c-Cre-GFP mice were immunoblotted with this antibody (Dong et al, 2019; PMID:31028120).
