This antibody is specific for Kv-beta-1. It does not cross-react with Kvbeta1.2, Kvbeta1.3, Kvbeta2. Kv-beta-1 is a cytoplasmic potassium channel subunit that modulates the characteristics of the channel-forming alpha-subunits. Modulates action potentials

Immunofluorescence was preformed using this antibody on primary hippocampal neurons from postnatal day 1 Sprague-Dawley rats (Cho et al, 2020; PMID:33168717). Primary hippocampal neurons from postnatal day 1 Sprague-Dawley rats were used for immunohistochemistry with this antibody (Cho et al, 2020; PMID:33168717). This antibody was used for immunoblotting on left ventricular mouse tissue lysates (Kilfoil et al, 2019; PMID:31639389).
