This antibody is capable of recognizing Legionella pneumophila, which form a genus of pathogenic gram-negative bacteria.

This antibody is exhibits broader specificity towards Legionella pneumophila serotypes 1, 2 and 6. The specificity of this antibody for Legionella was confirmed using ELISA (PMID: 11292489).
