  • Antibody Specificity
This antibody bind the C-terminal end of the human osteocalcin.
  • Application Supplier Note
This antibody is recommended for detection of low moecular weight peptides by using open sandwich ELISA (OS-ELISA). This antibody detects C-terminal of human osteocalcin in an ELISA. The cloned VH/VL cDNA fragments of this antibody were successful in detecting C-terminal peptides as short as 6 residues in an OS-ELISA. (PMID: 17636882). The VH-MBP and VL-MBP fusion proteins of this antibody were also used in the detection of small biomarker peptide by a micro OS-ELISA integrated into a microfluidic device (PMID: 20024056). The affinity matured version of this antibody O2AG2 was also made using OS-ELISA. It is also available on request (PMID: 20123883). This antibody was also used in the development of a highly sensitive protein based open sandwich immuno-PCR for detection of small biomarkers (PMID: 24025570)
