  • Antibody Specificity
This antibody recognizes the human p73 protein as well as the human and xenopus p53 protein.
  • Application Supplier Note
This original mouse IgG1 can be used to detect human p73 as well as human and xenopus p53. The reaction of this antibody with the two proteins was verified using immunoprecipitation and western blot (Le Bras et al., 2002; PMID: 11850851). The same group used indirect immunofluorescence to verify the specificity of the antibody (Le Bras et al., 2002; PMID: 11850851). Another group used the antibody with immunoprecipitation and immunoblotting to detect the accumulation of human p53 with increasing levels of calpastatin (Pariat et al., 1997; PMID: 9111352).
