  • Antibody Specificity
This antibody binds human PD-1 protein. PD-1 acts as an inhibitory receptor on antigen activated T-cells that plays a critical role in induction and maintenance of immune tolerance to self. It delivers inhibitory signals upon binding to ligands CD274/PDCD
  • Application Supplier Note
The initial binding characterization of the antibody was done using ELISA. The binding reactivity of this antibody to human, mouse and rhesus monkey PD-1 expressed on CHO cells was determined using flow cytometry. This antibody was shown to cross react with human and rhesus monkey PD-1 and not mouse PD-1. The binding affinity of the original mouse IgG4 antibody for human PD-1 was determined using surface plasmon resonance and was found to be Kd= 1.07 nM. The anti-tumor effect of this antibody was tested in vivo in a mouse colon cancer model. Murine MC-38 cells (colon adenocarcinoma cells) were injected subcutaneously in B-hPD-1 mice and treated with this antibody. It was reported that this antibody showed good tumor inhibitory effect (CN111763257).
