The specificity of this antibody (scFv) was confirmed in ELISA analysis. The binding affinity of the scFv fragment towards the HA1 protein was found to be Kd= 0.1 microM using surface plasmon resonance. Microneutralization assay was performed to assess the neutralization activity of the scFv fragment against the influenza A virus strain A/X31(H3N2) on Madin-Darby Canine Kidney (MDCK) cells (IC50= 20 microg/ml). This antibody was used for flow cytometry on HEK293 cells (Vashisht et al, 2019; pmid:31352231).
