  • Antibody Specificity
This antibody specifically recognizes and binds the ProC epitope tag comprising the amino acid sequence EDQVDPRLIDGK. This antibody binds the zymogen form of human Protein C in the activation peptide (spanning the thrombin cleavage site) and blocks protei
  • Application Supplier Note
This antibody is the humanized version of anti-Protein C antibody HPC-4. The binding of this antibody to protein C is calcium dependent. This humanized anti-protein C antibody exhibited calcium dependent binding which was significantly increased over that of the murine antibody HPC-4. The binding characterization of this antibody was performed using ELISA (PMID: 9680194). This antibody can be used to purify protein tagged with this EDQVDPRLIDGK epitope.
