This antibody recognises E. coli RuvC.

RuvC 5G9/3 (5G9) antibody was initially used to inhibit RuvC from interacting in a complex with other proteins and therefore to demonstrate the importance of this complex formation in the resolution of Holliday junctions (Eggleston et al., 1997). IP: This antibody was also used to pull down complexes containing RuvC to analyse the interactions of RuvC with RuvA and RuvB (Davies and West, 1998).
