- Scientific DescriptionHuman T cell receptor (TCR) is a T cell surface expressed heterodimer of alpha/beta or gamma/delta chains. TCRs recognize antigen peptides bound to MHC molecules forming the basis of antigen specific response by T cells. This specific TRBC1 antibody has been described to be useful in a simplified immunophenotypic assessment of T cell clonality. - Monoclonal Antibody. Recognizes human Cbeta1 TCR gene product (TRBC1) and reacts with 50-75% of T cells in normal human blood. Does not bind to TCR Cbeta2 (TRBC2). Isotype: Mouse IgG2a. Clone: Jovi-1 [also called Jovi.1]. Applications: FACS, FUNC, IHC. Liquid. 50mM Sodium Phosphate pH 7.5, 500mM Potassium Chloride, 150mM NaCl, 15% Glycerol, 0.2% BSA, 0.04% NaN3 (as a preservative).
