  • Antibody Specificity
This antibody binds human, cynomolgus monkey and rhesus monkey TREM-1. TREM1 is a receptor that is expressed on monocytes, macrophages, neutrophils and dendritic cells. It plays important roles in innate and adaptive immunity by amplifying inflammatory re
  • Application Supplier Note
The original IgG2a antibody binds human TREM-1 with an affinity of 2 X 10^-10 nM as tested by suface plasmon resonance. The screening of original antibody for binding human TREM-1 was done using ELISA and flow cytometry. This antibody is capable of binding both human, cynomolgus monkey and rhesus monkey PBMCs. This antibody was reported to block the release of TNFalpha from stimulated peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs). This antibody was also able to block the ligand-induced TREM-1 activation in such BWZ/hTREM-1 reporter cell assay (US9000127).
