This antibody binds a linear epitope on the VP28 envelope protein of the White spot syndrome virus (WSSV). White spot syndrome virus (WSSV) is a major pathogen in shrimp aquaculture. VP28 is one of the most important envelope proteins of WSSV.

This antibody can be used for the detection of VP28 envelop protein of the white spot syndrome virus (WSSV) using ELISA (PMID: 18998540).
