This antibody specifically and potently neutralises Zika virus in vitro, and does not cross-react with strains 1 - 4 of dengue virus, which minimises the risk of antibody-dependent enhancement (Wang et al, 2016). In a murine model, this antibody confers postexposure protection against Zika virus (Wang et al, 2016).
