    Antibacterialagent 227 (Compd 29) acts as an inhibitor for ThrRS (Seryl-tRNA synthetase), efficiently suppressing the growth of both planktonic and biofilm-cultured Staphylococcus aureus (Staphylococcus aureus 25923). The minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) for this compound is identified at 32 microg/ml. Due to its efficacy, Antibacterialagent 227 is a promising preservative against multi-drug resistant biofilms formed by Staphylococcus aureus strains.
