beta1-3 Galactosidase is a highly specific exoglycosidase that catalyzes the hydrolysis of terminal beta1-3-linked galactose from oligosaccharides and glycoprotein substrates, at a much lower rate, beta1-6 linked galactose residues from oligosaccharides [1] .
