Bezafibrate is an agonist of PPAR, with EC50s of 50 microM, 60 microM, 20 microM for human PPARalpha, PPARgamma and PPARdelta, and 90 microM, 55 microM, 110 microM for murine PPARalpha, PPARgamma and PPARdelta, respectively; Bezafibrate is used as an hypolipidemic agent.
