BPIPP is a guanylyl cyclase type C (GC-C) and adenylyl cyclase inhibitor that can suppress cyclic nucleotide synthesis. BPIPP inhibits chloride-ion transport stimulated by activation of guanylyl or adenylyl cyclases, and has the potential for diarrhea research [1] .
