Brevicidine is a non-ribosomally synthesized antimicrobial peptide with potent antibacterial activity against Gram-negative pathogens. Brevicidine disrupts the morphology of bacteria by binding to polysaccharides ( LPS ) on bacterial cell membranes to form holes [1] .
