Byakangelicol is white triol separated from Angelica dahurica, Interleukin-1 bèta (IL-1bèta) -induced release of prostaglandin E2 (PGE2) in A549 cells was inhibited by inhibiting the expression and activity of coX-2. Byakangelicol can be used to study airway inflammation.
