CASP2 may function instress-induced cell death pathways, cell cycle maintenance, and the suppression of tumorigenesis.Increased expression of CASP2 may play a role in neurodegenerative disorders including Alzheimersdisease, Huntingtons disease and temporal lobe epilepsy.
