CD20/MS4A1 protein is a B lymphocyte membrane protein that plays a crucial regulatory role in cellular calcium influx, which is essential for the development, differentiation and activation of B lymphocytes. As part of a store-operated calcium (SOC) channel, it promotes calcium influx upon B cell receptor/BCR activation.
