CD28 expressed on T cells and also on BHK cells transfected with human CD28. This antibody has been characterized as a superagonist.

Function: ANC28.1 stimulates expression of IL-2 from CD28+ cells. Divalent ANC28.1 can induce Antigen Independent T cell proliferation. In combination with anti-CD81 mAb, it can prime naive T cells to acquire effector function independent of TCR ligation. The applications listed have been tested for the unmodified form of this product. Other forms have not been tested.. ELISA, Flo, Func Function: ANC28.1 stimulates expression of IL-2 from CD28+ cells.
