Columbin (Standard) is the analytical standard of Columbin. This product is intended for research and analytical applications. Columbin is an orally active diterpenoid furanolactone from Calumbae radix, has anti-inflammatory and anti-trypanosomal effects. Columbin selectively inhibits COX-2 (EC50=53.1 microM) over COX-1 (EC50=327 microM) [1] [2] .
