Delcasertib (KAI-9803) is a potent and selective delta-protein kinase C ( deltaPKC ) inhibitor. Delcasertib (KAI-9803) could ameliorate injury associated with ischemia and reperfusion in animal models of acute myocardial infarction (MI) [1] [2] .
