Dihydrostreptomycin sulfate is an aminoglycoside antibiotic with antibacterial effect against Gram-negative bacteria. Dihydrostreptomycin sulfate exhibits ototoxicity that causes irreversible damage in inner ear hair cells, leading to hearing loss[1].
