Complement C4d ELISA RUO

The Complement C4d assay is a highly specific C4d ELISA kit for measurement of C4d in human plasma. The assay targets a unique cleavage epitope on C4d, which means that only the C4d is measured.

The C4d protein is a product of the classical and the lectin pathways and is increasingly recognized as a potential biomarker for diseases where antibodies can cause tissue damage, such as systemic autoimmune diseases.

C4d has the potential to detect patients at risk for the consequences of antibody-mediated disease and is also used during the development of new therapeutics that block complement activation to identify and monitor patients who may possibly benefit from these drugs.

Complement Factor P Functional Assay

The Factor P Functional assay is an enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) that combines principles of the functional complement activity assays with the use of labelled antibodies specific for deposited complement proteins. The amount of deposited complement proteins is proportional to the functional activity of Factor P in the sample.

The purpose of the product is to determine the function of Factor P in test samples. The functionality is determined qualitatively in relation to the calibrator (human serum) set to be 100% functional.

Complement Factor P Quantitative Assay

The Factor P Quantitative Assay is a sandwich ELISA for quantifying human Factor P in, for example, serum or plasma samples. The assay is based on immobilized antibody in a 96-well plate, which captures Factor P present in test samples incubated in the plates. The bound Factor P is detected with a secondary antibody labelled with HRP. The HRP subsequently catalyzes a cleavage of the substrate that induces a color change correlating with the concentration of Factor P in the test sample.

The purpose of the product is to quantitate the amount of human Factor P in test samples.

The Complement TCC is a flexible and easy to use immunoassay for determination of the terminal complement complex (TCC, also known as sC5b-9) in human plasma. The assay can be used in all situations where determination of complement activity is wanted.

Complement TCC is an excellent marker for complement studies in basic and translational research, clinical study of treatment, safety studies of medical devices and drugs.

TCC is also well suited for studies of complement activation in drug development and medical devices, i.e. biological safety testing and part of the recommended tests for assessing complement activation according to ISO standard 10993-4 for hemocompatibility testing.
