GDC-2394, an orally active, selective NLRP3 inhibitor, also targets IL-1beta, exhibiting inhibitory concentrations (IC50s) of 0.4 microM (human IL-1beta) and 0.1 microM (mouse IL-1beta). It effectively hampers NLRP3-induced caspase-1 activity while not affecting NLRC4-dependent inflammasome activation.
