- Application Supplier NotePrepare conjugate as described above. Use 1 to 3 micrograms of the conjugate per 1 x 106 cells suspended in 0.1 mL. This suspension contains 1 mg of conjugate per milliliter. Do not dilute entire sample at once. Mix vial contents well. Then, withdraw aliquots as needed with a micropipette and transfer into a conical centrifuge tube. Centrifuge at maximum speed for 4 minutes. Remove and discard clear supernatant and disslove colored precipitate in 100 mM sodium phosphate pH 7.0 containing 5 mg/mL of bovine serum albumin. PROTEIN CARRIER: bovine serum albumin CONJUGATE CHARACTERISTICS: The antibody used in this product is an affinity-purified goat anti rat IgG with heavy and light chain specificity. This antibody does not cross react with human immunoglobulins. This antibody cross reacts strongly with mouse IgG. Total activity of conjugate against immobilized rat gammaglobulins: >95% The biliprotein used in making this conjugate had the following characteristics: Mol.Wt. 240,000 Molar Extinction Coefficient at 565 nm: 1.9 x 106 Emission Max. 575 nm (using excitation at 500 nm).
