Human HMGB1 also known as high-mobility group protein 1, and amphoterin, GenBank Accession No. NM_002128, a.a. 2-215, with C-terminal Avi-His-Tag, and expressed in a HEK293 cell expression system. This protein is enzymatically biotinylated using AviTagTM technology. MW = 25 kDa. This protein runs at a higher MW by SDS-PAGE due to glycosylation.
