Scientific Description
The recombinant human LYPD3 consists of 267 amino acids and predictes a molecular mass of 28.3 kDa. In SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, the apparent molecular mass of rhLYPD3 is approximately 45-60 kDa due to glycosylation. A DNA sequence encoding the human LYPD3 (NP_055215.2) C-terminal segment (Met 1-His 286) was expressed, with a polyhistidine tag at the C-terminus.
