    The recombinant human CPB2 consists of 412 amino acids and predictes a molecular mass of 47.4 kDa. In SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, the apparent molecular mass of rhCPB2 is approximately 45-50 kDa due to glycosylation. A DNA sequence encoding the human CPB2 (NP_001863.2) extracellular domain (Met 1-Val 423) was expressed, fused with a polyhistidine tag at the C-terminus.
